So, we have compiled some information about the show that we thought would be useful. Inclusivity & Accessibility
Venue
ExceL is a large venue and the central boulevard is 600m long. All public entrances allow for access by wheelchair via low gradient ramps and an automatic door. Once inside the venue, all floors are level, offering unobstructed access. You can find further information on the following areas in relation to the venue on Excel’s accessibility page.

Water Refill
There are four water refill stations located by the East and West Entrances as well as by the halls S4 and S7.
Sound
Each theatre at The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show will be fitted with a hearing loop system. This will ensure the session content is accessible to anyone who uses hearing aids.
Toilets
Accessible toilets are available throughout Excel. Inside the hall to lunch! there are three toilets at the back of the hall including wheelchair accessible toilets.
Multi Faith Prayer Room
Multi-Faith Prayer room can be accessed through the grey door next to the S9 entrance on the boulevard.
Baby Changing Facilities
There are baby changing facilities on level 0 in both the male and female toilets in the boulevard. The family room can be found by S9. Inside has two changing mats, chairs for breastfeeding, a microwave to heat up baby food and a bottle warmer. It also contains a sink and toilet.
Cloakroom
Venue cloakrooms are open during event hours and are on level 0 (down the stairs, in between hall entrances N4 & S4) and at the east end of the venue on level 0. Please note Excel are unable to store any items overnight and cameras, laptop equipment or any other electronic devices cannot be stored in cloakroom at any time.
Seating
There are plenty of other options at the show when it comes to finding a space to rest. Not only are there ample numbers of seats in each of our theatres, you can also make your way to:
- The Café -There are also 40 onsite cafes and bars at Excel.
- Central areas – There are benches provided in the central areas of each show.
