Custom House station is right outside Excel and is now served by the Elizabeth Line, (getting you to Farringdon in 10 minutes) along with the DLR

Excel has plenty of pay-and-display parking onsite

Disabled access

All public entrances to Excel are accessible by wheelchair via a low gradient ramp and automatic doors. The floors inside the venue are level to offer an unobstructed access. You can hire wheelchairs and mobility scooters free of charge at the venue (subject to availability). Please visit the Excel website for more information.

 

Wi-Fi

Stay connected during your visit. Excel offers free Wi-Fi access, simply log onto the ‘_Excel free Wi-Fi’ network.

 

Food onsite

You will find a wide range of restaurants and cafés at Excel for breakfast, lunch or just a snack.

 

Water Stations

There are four water stations, where you can refill your bottle (East and West entrance, halls S4 and S7). There are no water stations at the show.

By rail or tube: Nearest stations are Custom House & Prince Regent.

WHO SHOULD VISIT?

The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show is a trade only event and is not open to the general public. Admission is strictly restricted to professional persons working in the industry. Proof of trade status may be requested.

The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show is specifically designed for restaurants, pubs, contract caterers, wholesalers and the foodservice industry.

CAN STUDENTS ATTEND?

No, students are not permitted to attend.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

Children under 18 will not be admitted to the event without prior agreement between the carer and the organisers. The exhibition is a place of business, and the presence of children is not encouraged. There are a number of health and safety issues to consider including large crowds, and the sampling of alcohol. Please bear this in mind when thinking about bringing a small child to the venue. Children under 2 must be in a pram, pushchair or baby carrier. If you do not have one of these items, you unfortunately will not be allowed into the show. When arriving at the venue, you, as the child’s guardian, will have to sign a waiver that states you understand the health and safety implications of bringing a child into the show. If you do not wish to sign the waiver, then unfortunately you will not be admitted into the show. There are no creche facilities available. This policy applies to show open hours only, as no children will be allowed into the hall during the build-up and dismantling of the event.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO VISIT?

Admission to The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show is free to visitors who register before 5pm on the 15 September. For those that haven’t pre-registered, an entry charge of £50 will apply on the door.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY VISITOR BADGE?

When you register you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to your badge as a PDF. Simply print it and bring it along. We’ll give you a lanyard when you get there. Your badge gives you entry on both days.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY BADGE OR CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

As long as you have registered you will be able to collect your badge onsite. Just ask one of the staff in the registration area and they will assist you. We will also send a badge reminder email before the show to all those registered to ensure they have their badge details handy.

DOES MY BADGE ENABLE ME TO RETURN TO THE SHOW ON ANOTHER DAY OR WOULD I NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN?

Your badge will be valid on both days of the show.

CAN I APPROACH EXHIBITORS/VISITORS TO SELL MY PRODUCTS?

No, the only people permitted to sell at The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show are the exhibitors.
