The Emissary Asolo DOCG Superiore
The latest offering from The Emissary is this beautiful DOCG Prosecco. Made from the finest selection of grapes from the DOCG Asolo region of the vineyard, this Prosecco is elegant, rich and complex with fine, velvety bubbles. The bouquet is rich with fruity and floral notes. Vibrant, zesty acidity and a subtle hint of sweetness balance gracefully on the palate. Round, gentle finish with lingering notes of fresh fruit. It was launched in July and has already received much critical acclaim, with The Independent describing it as ‘dreamy’ in their top Proseccos of 2020.

The Emissary was created by Ed Smith in 2018, who had become a little disillusioned with all the mass-produced, sub-standard Prosecco that seemed to have flooded the UK market. So he went on a mission and found a 3rd generation, family run vineyard who poured all their years of experience and passion into making the most superb Prosecco. And so The Emissary was born! We have two products, an Extra-Brut DOC Treviso and a Brut Asolo DOCG Superiore. Both are light, dry and refreshing, low sugar and vegan, and produced using environmentally friendly techniques.
