Tell us a bit about your company
Finca Treurer is a small family-owned project in Mallorca, dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees and the production of a distinctive and exceptional Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The estate also offers a range of olive oil tourism experiences that allow visitors to discover the world of olive oil and its production in a unique setting.
The project began in 2007, when its founder, Joan Miralles, planted 3,000 Arbequina olive trees. Today, Finca Treurer is managed by his son, Miguel Miralles, whose arrival marked an important step forward in the development of the project. One of his key decisions was to establish an olive mill on the estate, making it possible to control the entire production process, from the tree to the bottle.
Finca Treurer is firmly committed to environmental responsibility and carries out a number of initiatives focused on sustainability. These include composting olive residues to produce natural fertiliser, using solar energy, and treating and reusing wastewater to irrigate the fields, among other measures.
In addition to the olive mill, the estate is home to a five-star hotel and a restaurant focused on Mediterranean cuisine, creating a complete experience around the landscape, gastronomy and culture of Mallorca.
Finca Treurer currently exports to markets such as Japan, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Germany, among others. Its next challenge is to establish a presence in England.

To achieve our objective, we base our work on knowledge and expertise. Under the direction of our Chief Engineer, we carry out a wide range of agricultural practices aimed at producing healthy olives, the essential starting point for an Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the highest quality.
To preserve all its freshness and beneficial properties, we harvest the olives while they are still green. We carefully control every stage of the process to prevent chemical reactions that could affect the final result. The oil is also extracted at low temperature to preserve all its characteristics. Finally, we filter the oil to ensure that its properties are maintained for longer.
Our EVOO is stored in stainless steel tanks, without oxygen and at a low, constant temperature, ensuring optimal conservation. We only bottle the oil as required, helping to preserve its freshness and quality until the moment it is enjoyed.
Our three bottle sizes — 100 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml — feature an elegant and understated design, making them suitable for a variety of uses. The 100 ml bottle is ideal for hotel room service or as a welcome gift, while the 250 ml and 500 ml formats are perfectly suited for table service.
We also offer a five-litre tin format designed for professional kitchen use.
Why is exhibiting at The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show an unmissable opportunity for you?
At Finca Treurer, we have set ourselves a clear challenge: to build a stronger presence in the British market, a market that feels naturally connected to Mallorca through the close ties that have existed between the two for many years. It is a market where we are still not as present as we believe we should be.
As we prepare a series of initiatives in England, taking part in this event felt like a natural step. It brings together an important part of the country’s gastronomic industry and gives us the opportunity to present our EVOO personally, explain the project behind it and, above all, allow people to discover it for themselves.
This significant investment reflects how seriously we are taking this new stage. Our aim is not simply to be present in the UK, but to make Finca Treurer known, valued and gradually established as a reference EVOO within the gourmet sector.
