Launched in 2014, Casual Dining – the UK’s first and only dedicated trade event for the casual dining sector has enjoyed strong industry support from the outset.
Looking ahead to Casual Dining 2016, we thought we’d share some of the great testimonials the show’s received from its speakers and visitors so far:
“The Casual Dining show is the two days a year when our sector gets together. It’s an essential forum for sharing new ideas, innovations and insights,” says Simon Kossoff, co-founder and chairman of Carluccio’s.
“A chance to debate and consider the big issues driving change in the casual dining market – perfect,” says Steve Richards, CEO of Casual Dining Group.
“It’s great to finally have a trade show dedicated to our industry – it’s a really worthwhile visit,” says Steve Holmes, CEO of Azzurri Group.
“Bringing the latest thinking and innovation from our dynamic industry together with all the key players in one event certainly gets my vote!” says Karen Forrester, CEO of TGI Friday’s UK.
“Casual Dining is a hotbed of innovation…the most focused, most relevant, the best show of the year,” says Keith Bird, chief operating officer at Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
“A clear winner from my perspective, in terms of focus, attention to detail, accessibility and organisation,” says David George, head of food development at Greene King.
“Casual Dining is a welcome change to the trade show calendar. With the diversity of stands I’d definitely recommend that all pub operators visit this year,” says Anthony Pender, chairman of The British Institute of Innkeeping and MD of Yummy Pub Co.
“Casual Dining is the industry date you need in your diary. It’s the best place to see relevant exhibitors and hear first-hand from casual dining’s greatest innovators,” says Lizzie Barber, marketing manager at Cabana/Hush.
“A must attend event,” says Paul Pavli, operations director at Punch Taverns.
“A great diverse show, that all leaders and owners of businesses should visit to refresh one’s mind with all the new ideas that are out there,” says Paul Rogers, regional operations manager at Bespoke Hotels.
“Casual Dining is a key date in my diary every year. A great addition to the industry calendar,” says Brian Whiting, managing director at Whiting & Hammond.
“Casual Dining 2015 had a great range of suppliers and loads of interesting speakers. A great show, which I look forward to attending again [this] year,” says Jason Thorndycraft, operations director/ managing director at The Deltic Group.
