Some of the UK’s most celebrated chefs will take to the stage this September for the exciting new Chef LIVE at The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show. Adapted from the popular feature at sister event Northern Restaurant & Bar show (NRB), Chef LIVE will form an important part of The London Food & Drink Festival, which brings together The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show, London Drinks Exchange, lunch!, Natural & Organic Food Show and Artisan Food & Drink Show. The festival takes place on 16–17 September at Excel London.
Who’s cooking on the Chef LIVE stage at The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show in London?
The first names confirmed to cook at their industry show include Michellin starred Tom Aikens (Muse), Atul Kochhar (Atul Kochhar Restaurants), Cyrus Todiwala OBE (Cafe Spice Namaste), Two Michelin starred James Knappett (Kitchen Table), James Golding (Larder House / SUBO.CI), Masterchef and Great British Menu winner Nikita Pathakji (Maai) and Steve Mangleshot (wagamama).
As well as this, three Michelin starred, Mark Birchall (Moor Hall Restaurant & Rooms) will be speaking on the Restauranteur Stage, and popular TV Chef, and Mowgli founder, Nisha Katona MBE will also be speaking on the Casual DINING Stage.
What do the chefs do on the Chef LIVE Stage?
Each chef cooks a new, favourite or signature dish in around 30 minutes, chatting throughout with Chef Brian Mellor about their restaurants and their passion for the industry. With more names still to be announced, Chef LIVE promises to be one of the unmissable features of this year’s show, a rare chance for the industry to see some of the UK’s top culinary talent up close, sharing the stories behind their success.
