Full keynote speaker programme revealed Â
Some of the biggest names in the restaurant, pub and bar industry are on the Keynote menu at Casual Dining 2023, which takes place on 27-28 September at ExCeL London. Â
James Elliot and Thom Elliot, Co-Founders of Pizza Pilgrims have been confirmed to speak at the show. They will discuss how they have been rolling out the Pizza Pilgrim brand so successfully and offering thoughts on the future of the sector. Brewdog Bar’s CEO James Brown will also join the line-up. He’ll be sharing key insights on the meteoric rise of this huge brand. Â
Other speaker highlights include an exclusive interview with Nisha Katona, CEO & Founder of Mowgli Street Food. She’ll discuss her nagging obsession to build an eatery serving the kind of food Indians eat at home and will be talking about Mowgli’s growth.Â
The show will also feature an interview with Amber Wood, COO of New World Trading Company, who’ll reveal the secrets of her success and how she has managed to rapidly grow all day dining brands. Also, don’t miss an interview with Laura Harper-Hinton, Co-Founder and CEO of Caravan. Laura talks about all things Caravan including how to successfully master all-day dining and the importance of design.Â
Charles Gilkes, Co-Founder and Director of Inception Group will also take to the stage to discuss the rise of Inception Group, how they got to where they are, and where the current climate for bars places them in 2023 and beyond. And Mark Derry, Executive Chairman of Heartwood Collection, will discuss his views on the state of the hospitality industry and what makes Heartwood Collection such a special part of it.Â
For inspiration on succession planning, Mark Selby, Co-Founder & CEO of Wahaca and Gemma Glasson, Managing Director of Wahaca and DF Tacos will discuss how they are taking steps to prepare for a successful future for the business. Plus, Brian Trollip, Managing Director of Dishoom will reveal details about Dishoom’s all-new bar-led offering opening under ‘The Permit Room’. Â
